What a night! The Bobby’s Rabble Takeover at the AIA Carnival was a full-throttle celebration of community, music, and pure good vibes. From Iris’s soulful live acoustic set to Danny Carroll’s high-energy DJ session, the Blue Girl “Dai Pai Dong” transformed into our own cultural playground.

We hosted quizzes, sipped Fireball, won carnival prizes, and danced under the skyline, all alongside one of the most fun-loving, multicultural crowds in the city.

Massive thanks to Brandon and the crew for the unbeatable energy, and to everyone who came out to represent the Eurasian Society spirit with style. Your presence made the night unforgettable.

The festive spirit was in full swing at our Xmas Mixer, where members of the Eurasian Society gathered to celebrate community, culture, and connection. Held at the elegant Club Lusitano bar, the evening brought together familiar faces and new friends alike, wrapped in laughter, music, and end-of-year cheer.

Guests enjoyed happy hour drinks, heartfelt conversations, and a preview of what’s to come in 2025. We also launched our early bird 2025 membership offer, with special thanks to our members and General Committee for supporting another meaningful year of programming.

On 20 November, we had the honour of hosting Sophia Hotung—renowned Eurasian writer and illustrator for an intimate evening of storytelling, connection, and creativity at Biblioteca, Club Lusitano.

Guests enjoyed a live reading and behind-the-scenes insight into her latest book, The (Unlikely) Hong Konger, followed by a signing session and heartfelt Q&A. Sophia's reflections on identity, chronic illness, and the power of art sparked meaningful conversations among attendees from all walks of life.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, making this a night to remember. Special thanks to Sophia for sharing her time, her truth, and her voice with our community.

Our first-ever Eurasian Music Night lit up the Music Room at Melody with energy, talent, and celebration. From Van Halen to Enrique Iglesias and Olivia Rodrigo, the evening honoured musical artists across cultures reflecting the rich, blended identities that define our community.

Guests sang along, danced, and shared stories over drinks, with Eurasian Society members enjoying exclusive discounts on à la carte orders. The vibe was electric, and the connections were real.

Our September Monthly Meet took place at the stylish Melody in Sai Ying Pun, where members of the Eurasian Society community gathered for an evening of meaningful conversation, laughter, and new connections.

It was an inspiring mix of new attendees and returning friends, all brought together by a shared sense of cultural curiosity and belonging. These monthly gatherings continue to grow as safe, welcoming spaces for those navigating mixed, multicultural, or cross-cultural identities in Hong Kong.

Our July Monthly Meet brought the Eurasian Society community to the heart of Central at Bobby’s Rabble, where stories, laughter, and cross-cultural connection flowed freely over happy hour.

We were thrilled to host our first-ever Monthly Meet at The Wanch, a relaxed evening bringing together members of Hong Kong’s multicultural and mixed-heritage community. From new faces to familiar friends, it was a vibrant reminder of the power of casual connection.

This inaugural gathering marks the beginning of a recurring series designed to foster belonging, spark conversation, and strengthen community ties. We’re excited to see this grow into a regular space for cross-cultural exchange.

In our first-ever event, The Eurasian Society hosted a Pub Quiz bringing together communities from all around Hong Kong during a time when separation was inevitable. It was a unique opportunity to highlight each other’s knowledge of our traditions and backgrounds while expanding our social and professional network.
